Prime example today:

I went into Parkway Ford to get a firm estimate on some rusty issues on my car (long story). I saw a gentleman pull up in a Lightning. I said, "Nice Lightning!" He thanked me. I was about to jet until I thought...let's just try something.

I asked him whether he was going to the Experience this year. He was puzzled, and said he hasn't heard anything from SVTOA in a long time. LUCKILY, I had all my stuff with me so I whipped out the flyer and stuff. Gave him the run-down. Apparently, he's been up to Grand Bend with a few other Lightnings out this way.

Some people at the dealership were looking at me funny, like I was talking pig latin or something. SVTOA...what's that?

Hope he comes. It'd be nice to see some SVTs from my area head down too!

thanks richard...we need to straigthen out this lack of SVT brand recognition in canada...and the lack of support from SVT its self :wtf:

If you think that's bad you should try living in Ottawa....SVT?????!!!?? What's that...Don't even mention SVTOA...

what about campbell ford...they have been an SVT dealer since 96 or 97 :) ...but i guess the word of SVT is not very well know out there either :wtf:

I can't remember if it was Bluetoy, but I recall the treatment of customers at Campbell Ford can be VERY mixed.

Took my Cobra in today to inquire about some service. When it was decided that I'll have to leave the car, I told the Service Manager " When I do leave it you'll have to give me a loaner cause its an SVT. " He said "Why? I thought it was a Cobra. Are all Cobras SVT's?? " :wtf: .................So...don't feel left out guys :bash:
