Charlotte (100-City) Tour
On Thursday May 15, 2003, Ford Motor Company will stop in Charlotte on its 100-city tour in honor of Ford's 100th anniversary. There will be a cruise to each local Charlotte FORD dealer. The journey will end at Dale Jarrett Ford, Indian Trial, NC.
Start Point, Harrelson Ford, 6500 South Blvd, (704)552-2760. Leave Harrelson at 5:00PM Miles
Start on SOUTH BLVD Take right out of Harrelson Ford 5.5
Take I-277 NORTH/US-74 EAST, bear rt. Onto ramp towards JOHN BELK FRWY EAST 0.3
Merge on I-277 NORTH ( bear right ) 1.4
Take the BREVARD ST/DAVIDSON ST(NC-49)/TRYON ST exit, exit #3B 0.2
Continue on E 12TH ST to N. Tryon Street 0.5
Turn Right on N TRYON ST to 5411 N. Tryon Street 4.0
Young Ford will be on the left side of the street. Go past Young Ford, 100 yds and make U-turn
Distance, approx. 12.0 miles will take about 30 to 40 minutes to Young Ford, in traffic.

Leave Young Ford at 6:15 PM for Town and Country FORD
Take right out of Young FORD lot. Go 50 Yds, make U-turn at Eastway Drive light.
Go about ¾ mile to Old Concord Road.
Take Right, at traffic light, onto Old Concord Road. Follow until you get to Harris Blvd. Aprox. 3 miles.
Take left, cross over Old Concord Rd, onto Harris Blvd East. Do not cross bridge over Harris Blvd.
Follow Harris Blvd. East until you reach Idlewilde Rd. Take Right, at traffic light, onto Idlewilde Rd. Follow Idlewilde Rd. for approx. I mile to Independence Blvd. take right and go about ½ mile to Town and Country FORD.
Should take about 30 minutes to get to Town and Country FORD
Leave Town and Country FORD at 7:00PM for Dale Jarrett FORD, 88 Dale Jarrett Blvd, Indian Trail, NC.
Take right out of Town and Country FORD, go to next traffic light, ¼ mile, make U-Turn and head East on Independence Blvd. ( NC Rt. 74) Stay on Rt. 74 for about 20 to 25 minutes until you get to Dale Jarrett FORD. Dealership will be on left side of RT. 74.
If you prefer to drive to the nearest FORD dealer, listed abover, be there by the listed departure time. All cars will arrive at Dale Jarrett at 7:30 PM for the festivities.
Get a look at, and maybe a ride in, Henry Ford’s Sweepstakes Racer. There will be surprise guests and all. If you can’t make it to Dearborn, this is the next best thing. There will be a 100th anniversary gift for everyone who participates.
