I have to say, even though I worked most of the time at the event, I still had a blast and people had plenty of track time
and were also having a blast.

I can tell you, there is nothing like breaking into a turn at 120+
and see your SVT just stick it and run like heck out of the turn.

Hope to see some of you next year.

Gene,

You and your event "team" deserve a HUGE "WELL DONE" for the event. It is GREAT to see several SVTOA chapters and groups working together to put on a top-notch event! I'd have to agree with Roger... you guys set the bar pretty high for future SVTOA On Track events.

To a MAN, each and every one of my instructors commented to me about how well run the event was and how well their students took to the STEEP learning curve associated with performance driving.

Personally, I too, had a GREAT time. Yes, it's a LOT of work, long hours and HOT sun... almost 200 autocross runs... almost 1,000 laps around that @$#@#% skid pad... ALL worth it to see the smiles on our students' faces!

Kudos to you and your ENTIRE crew of hard working event organizers and volunteers! :tmb: :tmb: :tmb:

See you on track!

P.S. Anyone get any pics of me driving the #43 Panoz GTR car on Sunday?? :bna And thank you for allowing me a little time to induldge my own "driving passion"...
