I was looking into getting some steeda sport springs for my 01. My dad thinks i am an idiot because the oil pan will end up s****ping. He says that they will only hinder performance not help it. Anybody have these springs? I just want to here some testimony or get some proof to show my dad. He works at ford and everytime i do anything to my car, he yells at me. Thanks -Dan Walsh

I have the Steeda Sport springs on my 99. I love 'em. They lower the car about an inch and a quarter. I also used the MM spring isolators which negated about 3/8" of the drop. I had Eibach springs before that and they were too low and too stiff. The Steeda springs ride just like the factory, lower the stance and seem to help with the wheel hop.

Where did you get the mm spring isolators? How much were they? I have a nasty bump at the end of my driverway and will definitely need them. Man I need to get this springs....

Hey Dan,
Have you done anything about your springs yet?
I hear the Steeda springs are good. I know the
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs are good. Had my Eibachs installed
last week on my '01 Cobra. Car looks great. Doesn't bottom
out and both front and rear alignments were no problem with
the stock setup. The ride is great, not harsh at all. Also, I
installed 1" wheel spacers on the rears. It looks like a totally
different car with the spacers and springs.
Good luck in whatever you decide.

I will beable to buy my parts and get them installed there too.....I am going to be in the negatives (cash flow) pretty soon. Maybe I shouldnt of bought the cobra when i was only 19 :).

Wals,
Where exactly is the Official Steeda Store going to be near
Walled Lake, MI? That might be close enough for me too!
p.s. Money isn't everything. Enjoy life as it happens. Oh,
and by the way....You will never finish modifying your Cobra
so don't try to finish soooo quickly.

Its supposed to be located on elizabeth lake road and M-59, but I havent called the guy lately so I dont know whats going on. I think his phone number is 248-366-5380. Give him a call if you want. The place is called Nelson's Performance.
I am spending all my money on gasoline, restaurants, and other misc ****. I dont even have a woman right now (thank god or Id be really broke :). I need to really be saving for a house...but I know that wont happen for awhile. I guess I will just end up milking my parents for a little while longer. I kinda still want to be a kid....this adult **** sucks...
