Trunk leak

Anyone have a rain leak in the trunk? Mine leaks on the passenger side, near the hinge, with no obvious gap or looseness in the weatherstripping. Any experience or thoughts?

The trunks are a pretty bad seal for the most part from what I've experienced. The main culprit usually ends up being one of the grommets in the floor or the two air vents one on each corner of the trunk on the sidewall towards the brake lights. Try check those.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll check both. That might be why it didn't leak when I washed the car!

No problem. If it didn't leak during car washing, I would expect one of these to be the problem area.
