Hi all!!
Well, the Sound, Looks, And Performance Association (SLAP) is finally getting underway in Illinois.
The first SLAP event of the season will be next Saturday, May 10th in Wheeling, IL. The host of the event is Bill Stasek Chevrolet, but the event itself will be at a city park a couple blocks east of the dealership on Dundee Rd.
The event formats offered will be dB (spl), dBq (sound quality), and Show-n-Shine.
Entry fees will be:
$30 for dB only
$30 for dBq only
$50 to do both dB and dBq
$20 for Show-n-Shine
Registration for this event will begin at 9:00 AM and end promptly at 11:00 AM.
Show-n-Shine and dBq judging will begin about 10:00AM, dB runs (the first of 2 passes) will begin once registration closes.

I too am an SVTOA member (Heart of Illinois Chapter) with my 1998 SVT Contour, so it would be great to see some SVT's out there at the show.
