Been doing some research into the possibility of a 1/4 track at Homestead Speedway. The problem with this is that the City of Homestead owns the land that the Speedway is on, and will not allow it. And as we know politicians can change their minds. If you have any dealings with the powers in South Dade you might want to mention the advantages of a Drag Strip in the area. A field trip for them to Moroso to see how many Dade and Broward residents are there, the old Economic Card. Or the old safety issue “If there was a place to race they would not do it on the streets.” Just something to think about, if you got the time.
