I am looking for a pair of good looking seat covers to protect the front buckets in my 2001 Cobra, preferably lightweight for California weather. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find some that look good and fit well? The ones through Ford Accessories catalog don't look like they fit very well! My seats are the charcoal color.
Thanks for any suggestions.

check out WWW.WETOKOLE.COM - we have a set on our Audi TT - very nice - call them if the mustang is not listed - very nice people

respectfully speaking, why not just treat the leather portion with lexol, have a sunshade when the car is parked, and just enjoy the seats as beautiful as they are? and of course, dont eat sloppy in the car.
(ps, i think the 01 seats are much more attractive than the '03 seats)
best wishes

Yeah your right Kevin about enjoying the seats without seat covers, that was my first choice, but I the leather on the drivers side seat back lumbar bolster is getting worn looking and in fact the color is wearing off on the seam. This is from being brushed each time you enter and exit the car. Ford replaced my seat back covers once and this is happeing again within 6 months so, I thought I would just opt for the seat covers to try and protect the seat backs from deteriorating any more.

yes, i see what you're saying. you're right about the bolsters wearing. it happens no matter how hard one tries not to rub too hard when entering and exiting. mine are starting to show. the same thing has happened on my brother's sho taurus. seems like an inherent problem/trait in the seat design

from Ford.
I have a 2001 as well, and I got he ones from Ford. Not too bad looking, better in the black than the saddle. They are made of denim, and fit well.
Most of all they do the job.

WOW! I recently ordered a set of new front seat covers from Wet Okole as recommended by your postings. Fortunately, their office is nearby me and so I just drove over there to order.
It took about 1-1/2 weeks to get them and the cost was around $280.00 with headreasts (included installation). The covers really fit well, and I think look great (they photographed them and my car - see image attached)! They also soften the seats a little because they are made of neoprene, and they are very cool (temp) to sit on! All in all I am very happy with them except they supplied them with grey headrests, so I had to reorder black ones instead. The black headrests I have now look much better than the grey ones they supplied originally, I think.
Thanks for the tip - it was a good one!

What is the material like under the cover? In other words, what is contacting the seat?
Thanks!

Todd - the material is the same front and back. It is neoprene, (like a wetsuit). It is soft, yet quite durable and the way they are designed cut and fitted (tightly), makes them follow the form of the seat!

They are the same as the front, denim. I have to pull them off and see what the seats look like, it has been a while. The denim itself is worn though.....
