I'm running the Steeda Triax on my 99 T45. Everyone says how bad these trannies are. I have not had any problem with mine. It has been on there for about 24K, and the car has 38K on it.
I feel I drive my car hard, but again, no problems with it. Maybe due to the Triax???

I have the b&m and it's sweet. Very notchy, you KNOW when you're in gear. You can powershift 2-3 without worrying about missing the gear. My buddy also has one in his 12-sec 5.0 and the stock T5. His has been holding up well as he beats the living hell out of his car every chance he gets and so far so good! Haven't seen him miss 3rd since the shifter.

I have a Tri-ax. I've liked it since day one. A buddy has a Pro 5.0 and likes his too. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I ran a tri-ax with the 3650 in my GT, now I'm going to a T56, and I ended up with 2 shifters... lol... oops

I went with the Pro 5.0 shifter and it is a major improvement over stock. I think you will be happy with whatever shifter you choose.

I HAVE A PRO 5.0 AND ONE OF THE BEST PARTS I HAVE EVER MADE FOR THE CAR. I JUST HEARD IT WAS THE BEST TO GET AND YOU REALLY CAN'T GO WRONG WITH JUST ABOUT ANY AFTERMARKET SHIFTER AND VERY EASY TO INSTALL.:cbra:

I use the Pro 5.0 and love it. The shifting from 2nd to 3rd is so much easier and the positive stops help keep the T-45 alive.

I also have the 5.0, no issues here. Couple of people have recommended the MGW shifter. Better than the 5.0 and tri. U might want to look into that one too. If u do buy the 5.0 just make sure u pick up a different knob. IMO its crappy looking and doesnt have that "feel". I have the MGW gripper knob, very nice look and the feel is perfect!

I had a Pro 5.0 on my 93 Cobra and already have one lined up for my 97...will probably install it next week. Like others have said, you probably can't go wrong with either the Triax or the Pro 5.0.
