Since everyone is runnig basically the same setup either a Vortech, or Paxton I wanted to be different, so I went with the ATI Procharger P1SC with 8lbs. of boost, and a 3 core aftercooler.

I agree that should be a nice set up. Is that an air to air after cooler?:)

Its a an air to air aftercooler. I did a lot of researcg, and its real interesting how they can get it stay so cool without any external oil lines drilled.:jawdrop:

Do you have a web site I can check the aftercooler at. I like the idea of the after cooler without all the extra water pumps etc. I want to stay as simple as possible. THats why I'm not running any cooler right now.

Here are a couple of links. The first one is pretty interesting, and is right along with your question.

This link is more of a comparison of what the aftercooler really is...

Did you get your car done yet. I may have missed a new thread if you started one.
I'm looking at the Paxton "Charge Cooler" they recently came out with. Only problem I see is it hangs pretty low below the fron splitter. On a lowered car I wouldnt want to hit something with it. Otherwise the information Ive been hearing is very good. Guy at stangnet said his intake pipe feels cool to the touch after highway driving. Mine would fry an egg. :fryem:
He also said he got 22 mpg driving 80+ on the interstate. I get about 12 most the time. I'm still having chip issues. THe one I got from vortech works but it DUMPS gas in the engine to keep it cool. The new one wasn't burned right and I lost 50 hp.
Let me know how yours worked out. ;)
