This is Lowell writing.
Where are all the Central Ohio folks. I live in Pataskala, and want others to participate in the Solo II at OSU parking lot.
Also, looking for folks to go to NASA HPDE at Mid Ohio and / or Beaver Run.
Give me a holler at lowellmarx@aol.com

Hey Lowell,
I was thinking the same thing...where are all the central Ohio guys?? SVT's are everywhere around here!
I just got registered here last week, been poking around, learning how to use the board. Seems to be lots of good info. I've also been on myfordfocus, and teamfocus.
I've been toying with the idea of trying to start a central Ohio chapter, but not sure if I have the time to really put into it. It seems a shame that there isn't one. Your thoughts?

There is a chapter as I understand it. It was listed in the SVTOA magazine in January/Feb???
I e-mailed the person listed as President, it was an old address. I called SVTOA, they gave me a new number. Contacted the guy, Walt Thurston, who lives near me on Havens Corner Rd. near the Franklin and Licking county line.
He is a Lightening owner.
Didn't seem interested in any activities?! What's up with that.
He mentioned someone with a Cobra that might be interested and said he would pass on my name. Nothing.
I think we need to move forward. Not sure how. I have Solo II and Track time on my schedule. Don't have time to be a leader. I am the original owner of a 72 240Z, and have my hand into the Z club stuff too.
I plan on going to Beaver Run for track days with NASA HPDE on May 17 &18
Visit racenasa.com for info. the HPDE is High Peformance Driving Experience. Laping at speed with four levels, each progressing to more passing. I did this with my Z and with a Labaron GTC. Lots of fun. Need to have GOOD brakes.
Write at my e-mail

LMarx, did you ever go to any of the SCCA Autocross events this past year? I was at all but maybe 3 races. We do need to get a chapter or something togather sometime.

Hey everyone, my name's Kurt I run a small Cobra club here in Cols-(Cols Cobra)-there are 7 of us so far. Most of the guys are 1/4 mile guys, but I think we would all like to try some different type stuff, and if nothing else I would love to lend a hand if anyone needs it. you can contact me at KDBONU69@MSN.com
Thanks.

The NorthCoast SVTOA is thinking of holding two dyno days (june and july) at the Big Shot Dyno in Hudson Ohio (along route 8 & 303).
Are there any weekend days that would work best for you?

The season is running down. We have had many good days.
Anyone care to suggest a last event for the season (On-Track??, dyno day, drag day, fall leaf tour??)
North Coast SVTOA awaits your ideas
