Nitrous Oxide

I'm considering adding Nitrous Oxide to my sligthly modified (see sig.) '01 Cobra. Any suggestions, recommendations, warnings or other from the group?

I have no intentions are turning my snake into track racer but would like a 50 - 75 shot of ponies.

I'm a total novice regarding Nitrous, all info will be helpfull.

All the advice I've received on these boards has been excellent, so keep up the good work.

Heh...I am not a real fan of the gas, but that is why they make all these different things...so folks can get what they want. I've always thought that people that add the go juice to their cars are playing russian roulette with the engine. It's not a matter of IF it will blow, it is a matter of WHEN it will blow! ;) I am pretty conservative, and if I wanted more power, would go to a turbo first, and a blower second. I would not even consider the giggle gas. BUT, that's just me. :wtf: :haha:

I appreciate your opinion, but I have not seen any
documentation on a Turbo unit designed for the '01 cobra.
If you know of any.....spill.

I am still a little leary of the Nitrous that is why I started this
thread. Many folks say it's safe now and others. like you, still
believe it's risky. Myself I don't have an informed opinion, yet.

Well, I am looking at 12 to 18 months down the road for mine, so that gives someone a chance to really work the bugs out.
