I mounted my nitrous pressure gauge in the front cup holder. I already have the boost gauge on the A-Pillar and did not want the look of gauges everywhere. When I arm the system, it glows red around the gauge and the face is green.

Do all the 2003 cobra's have a traingular pillar? What is involved in replacing the triangular pillar with an earlier (rounded) pillar so we can use some of the readily available pillar pods?

Also, how do they differ from the coupe to convertable?

I don't know what the coup pillar looks like.

I actually pulled the pillar w/ pod from my '99 Cobra 'vert before I traded her in. It mounts exactly the same on the '03 'vert, the '03 is just a different shape with a little more rigidity built in. If I remember right the replacement '99 pillar was something like $29.

Here's some pictures (http://www.planettalso.com/Dan/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=1&tabid=19), select "2003 Cobra Mod Shots".

With the pod on there it's hard to tell that it's really any different from the passenger side, which I left stock.

I don't know about overall shape but the top part of the pillar on the 'vert is flared out more and attaches differently, to take into account the modifications to the windshield frame on the 'vert. The coup pillar and 'vert pillar are not interchangable.

Just placed an order through my local dealership for the pillar. I was given p/n XR3Z7603599AAB. I should know in 3-5 days if this is the correct item. My cost was $23.95

The pillar pod from rpmoutlet looks great with the Autometer Lunar gauges.
