Dodged A Bullit Yesterday

Was on my way home from a ride in the cobra yesterday and I nearly got pulled over. I was making a right hand turn on to a side street as a police car came to the stop sign. He watched me finish my turn and I drove past him. I glanced in my rear view mirror and spotted his reverse lights coming on. I thought, oh well, he saw I have no front plate and he's comming to give me a ticket.:mad:

He gets turned around and starts coming after me. There is now a car between me and the cruiser. Must have pulled on to the street from a side road. The cop tries to pass the car and the next thing I see is the car turns left into the side of the cruiser causing it to spin out!:eek:

Guess I lucked out there, asuming he was after me. ;) :D I think I'll have to install my front plate.:( Have to start looking for a bracket since the original owner never installed it.

Well, I was about a half block away when it happened. Maybe he figured I won't have stopped anyway.

well I thought that knowing how to drive was part of the course... but I could be wrong....

of course I expect that he probably learned how to drive on a FWD car.... which means that when you try to drive a RWD car with any sort of aggression, you usually get into lots and lots of trouble lol

yeah.... but driving RWD is so much better.... you can feel when it's getting loose.... and it's easier to correct...

when you are in a FWD car, if you get loose, you get ****ed... cause you sure as hell ain't going to feel it:wtf:

LOLl remember a headlight is 300 bucks.. so a bracket at least should be around 150?... heh... tickets i think are 110...
