The Bluebonnet Drive was a great time for all that were there. More than a few heads were turned with the sound of 14 SVT vehicles going by. The BBQ was great, and for the bunch who went to “Must Be Heaven” for desert after, I am sure that everyone enjoyed the treats!
I have included some pictures that Beth and I took during the drive and picnic. If anyone would like a particular picture, please let me know.
Our next event/meeting is Saturday, April 12th, at Guadalajara Restaurant. We will have a portion of the lot for our vehicles and need to be there by 4:30pm. Please RSVP to Ted Fontenot or Tony Scharp so that we may coordinate with the restaurant. We are at the I-10 & Bunker Hill location (just East of Memorial City Mall on the feeder road).
There are a number of events coming up that are posted on our forum page and we try to keep you updated through this newsletter. If you have heard of anything upcoming that you would like to see us attend as a group, please let us know!
The day was perfect, no clouds, light wind and temp in the 70’s. Just perfect Sunday driving conditions. If only South Texas was always this temperate!
We had 14 of our members with their cars and another met us in Brenham for a total of 38 people. Kevin and his Focus, Tony was in his F-150 and the rest were Cobras. Our Lightning contingent was absent, apologies accepted with the knowledge they missed a great time.
Thanks to Tex’s Barbecue of Brenham for catering, the food was great!
