Would wheel size affect warranty?

If I put 17x9" wheels on with 285/40 tyres, would that affect the warranty?
Diameter changes by less than 1/2" bigger that the stock 245/45 tyres.

It all depends on the dealer. I don't see how .295" larger tire will void warranty. As long as your ABS, and traction control all function correctly you will be alright. Also depends on the offset.

What's the speed limit down there?

offsets and backspacing are the same as on the 2003
i hadn't thought about abs/traction control....still the difference isn't much - 1% on the speedo...
