Does anyone know how to disable the automatic door locking when you start moving on our foci. It not really a big deal but it bugs the **it out of me. The dealer told me that it is something that I can take care of myself and to look in the owners manual. Guess I passed over it because I couldn't find it.

Yup, Had to do it myself, it was driving me

Get in our Car, turn the key to ACC, push 'unlock' three times quickly (using the door switch), then turn the car to OFF leaving the key in. Click 'lock' three times quickly, and turn the key back to ACC. You should hear the horn Chirp.

One chirp is autolock on,
Two chirps is autolock off (or vice-versa).

And, to make it even better, hold both your lock and unlock buttons on your key fob until the horn beeps. Now you only have to click unlock once, in order to unlock both doors!

Great for when you tell your gf that the door is unlocked, but it's not! :D

they are supposed to lock when you hit 5mph. i think the cold has an effect on mine, cuz it seems it locks sooner sometimes, then later other times.

this doesnt bother me at all. that damn chime when you didnt put the seatbelt on pissed me right off though. lol. i turned that thing off the day after i took the car home. i could not listen to that.

I find the sound the turn signal makes to be extremely annoying!! Does anyone know a trick to turn it off, or at least to turn it down?

I agree about the turn signal, although I'm starting to get used to it, until someone new comes in the car and asks, "What's that"?

I love the "Snapple" signal. I get comments all the time, and have only had a couple of negative ones.

I tried this (several times!) and it did not work. I get no horn chirp and the autolock is not disabled. Why won't it work for me!? Has anyone else succeeded in using this method for disabling that silly autolock "feature"?

The autolock trick didn't work for me, but the key fob opening both doors at once worked...Yipeee.:)

I find that when I put my seatbelt on before moving the car keeps that annoying beeping sound away. That airbag will take your head off, or at least break your jaw and nasal cavity.:bash:

I tried turning the annoying autolock feature off too. It didn't do anything. I asked DRX where he got his info. I still have not heard from him.
