Once again, I’d like to pass along a summary of the membership meeting on March 20. We had a strong showing of our regular attendees, but we’d like to see more of you turn out. It’s nice to match faces to names.
Anyway, we covered a fair amount again:
The current versions for the dash plaques and trophies were presented. The members voted for wooden plaques as trophies, rather than conventional trophies. They will be wood and about 8x10.
The results of the website survey from the February meeting were presented. It seems that our members want a calendar of events and pictures of members’ cars. Those were made priorities in the new design.
Our planned event schedule was reinforced with the addition of the On Track in October at Beaver Run and possible Autocross events with the Porsche club.
The bulk of time was spent on our show. We will contact other auto clubs for attendee interest. We will also do some targeted advertising. Also, the flyer that we have developed will be mailed to the over 400 SVTOA members within 60 miles of Chapman Ford.
