As discussed at the March meeting, there was strong interest in attending the 4th of July car show in Woodridge, IL.
Please post up if you plan on attending this event so we can give Frank (ITPphoto) an idea of how much space our chapter would require.
Further detals to follow :D
.....Oh yeah, I plan on attending:tmb:

I could bring any color Lightning if no one with their personal truck is coming. It will have a dealer plate. If not, I might pull up in just about anything SVT(or Roush).:)

(here's hoping Rick has his 10th Annv. Cobra by then)

Yea, where is Ricks car.
We may need to pick him up and drive him to the car show. Or he could drive a Lightning?
:jawdrop: :haha:

Well as I said, the build date was subject to change. And it did. As of this morning, the status shows it "locked in" with a build date of 6/16. That could give it enough time to be here for the show.

OK still Snakeless in Winfield! The 16th may make it tight to have it here for the 4th but it seems possible.
I will need to make room in the garage anyway so the extra week end won't hurt. Pony Trader of the 2003 cars to be produced how do we get the production number of mine?
Have a great day guys.:tmb:

SVT tells us they can provide details when the production run is finished. They should be able to give the build date and the sequence number. My guess would be sometime after July. :p

Thanks Pony Trader. So if they build the car next Monday when do you think it will come in?
I have a need for speed and my wife's 66 GT just doesn't do it!:wtf:
It has been so long since I drove a Cobra I'm beginning to think my LS8 is actually fast!

Does anyone have a link or the specific times for this show? My wife has duty at a parade on the 4th and I need to get coordinated! I may need a ride since I'm still Snakeless in Winfield! Maybe Ponytrader will lend me that White Roush with the Blue Stripes that's gathering dust on their lot. Come on Pony Man it is a used car!

Wow, I guess they restored a old back-up for the forums cause our posts from the last week are not here.
Anyway, the plan is that we're meeting in front of Packey-Webb at 10:00Am and leaving by 10:30.
I'll see ya there unless someone posts otherwise:tmb:
I apologize in advance for being uglier than usual due to the lack of beauty sleep:rolleyes:

Thanks for catching the web site "CRASH" Larry.
This happened on the Focus message board. We lost an entire thread there. Makes it difficult for people to keep up with whats going on. I'll send Greg another note.
:spank: :spank:
See everyone in the AM. I hope the weather holds out.

Mr. Tom Skilling is calling for the following:
"2003’s hottest, most humid conditions to date! Severe t-storms threaten this afternoon. Mixed sun, but cottony cumulus clouds build into clusters of powerful t-storms capable of torrential downpours, high winds and hail. Aerial storm coverage may grow to 50-70% of the area. Peak heat index: 100-106°. Pt. cloudy, warm, muggy Friday night."
You guys have a nice and safe holiday. I'm gonna keep the car clean a couple more days...
