HI Ed,
I went to that track last year.I got there around 5:00, made my 1st past at 7:30 2nd at 9:30. I was real pissed!!! I swore i would never go there again.But as you can see i was there last weekend.
To make a long story short,last weekend was definately my last time there.
I think when Immokolee builds there 1/4 track Moroso will see a drastic drop in attendance.

I went with Thursday because... well it just seemed better than Monday or Tuesday, I dunno. I'll squeeze it in one way or another ;)

Ray, we are talking about a track rental, that would be for the SVTOA members only, limited to 50 total, you should be able to get at least 10 runs in with those numbers.

I understand,i have such a bad taste in my mouth about that track.I would not go back there if it was free and i can make 50 passes.
This past friday night at T@T the guy's in the sportsman line sat there from 7:30 to10:45. And in this time frame,my guess is about 20 cars ran.
I think the money to rent a track should go somewere else.

Ray, I am sorry that you had a bad experience with Moroso, been there myself. However they are the only NHRA sanctined track in south Florida, and subsiquently the only one that our insurance will work at.

:bna :bna :bna EDZ - I rented Moroso for my wife's birthday party 2 years ago and we had a blast. One thing to consider though is that they will probably NOT allow side by side racing AND make sure you specifically request and get a properly prepped surface. We had 3 cars capable of high 8's low 9's and they were disapointed at the surface prep. Just my 2 cents worth. :allhail:

Bill, You can get side by side if you have your own insurance, and enough cars to warrent it. We have both.
