CD Player Question

I've noticed that when I play a "burned" cd in the Cobra, that it gets to about track 9-14 depending on length of song's and starts to skip real bad. I've taken the cd's out an put them in my 02 supercrew and have no problem playing them.

Anyone else notice any problems like this?

All 6 in my player are, ahem, "burned" compilations from various sources. I get no skipping except when going too quick over nasty train tracks.:)
