View Full Version : Gas Mileage?

How is everyone doing for gas mileage? I'm back from Charleston, SC and I'm averaging 22mpg, I think it's pretty good since I'm using a 2.93in pulley and occassionally a 2.8 incher. My speed was 75-80 at 2100-2400rpm.
City mileage is down to about 14mgp, but I'm 1/2mile from work:D

Probably about 10 for me. Gas mileage is of no concern to me. I can't help it, I'm addicted to the whine of the supercharger. :D

Mine will change soon I'm going with 50lbs injectors/calibrated MAF on the next set of mods. I'm working on 525-550rwhp. Though with 12,000 miles already the tires are wearing pretty fast. Not that the 447rwhp is helping there either.

Wow you get great mileage, I get about 11 to 12 city and 18 to 19 Hwy.

I was just interested if there was something strange going on because the numbers seemed a bit high to me. I'll enjoy it while I can, my next upgrades ain't going to be pretty but more HP is what I'm after.

I could get 25 miles per gallon if I got out and pushed it 9.5 miles:D

I find it strange that you get that high of mileage. But I would
enjoy it while you can. What kind of mods do you have now
and what are you going to add. I'm going to wait to add any
mods on my vehicle until I get a couple of thousand miles.
Then start with a CAI and exhaust.

I've got the JDM kit that includes Magnaflow catbacks, superchip flip chip, 2.93 and 2.8 pulley and the 12inch open filter. RWHP is 447 and torque is 478 lbs/ft.
Next on the list is 50 lbs injectors, single blade throttle body, long tubes and x-pipe, plus True Blue is going to dyno tune an Autologic chip.
I'm shooting for 525-550 rwhp.
