I think the name is a little boring. I mean Lightning or Cobra have much more personality. Anyhow the question is what would you name the SVTF ?



I can’t think of anything really good right now but the best thing that comes to mind is the "Focus Tiger".

SVT Focus Rocket. Or we can add a few HP and some AWD and a dash of turbo and call it what it should be called: RS

I don't mind, though it would be nice if you had a picture of your car so everyone can see it. We like the variety around here :)

You can't call it the Ralisport. No one in the here in the states would know what the heck it is. Besides, RS=RallyeSport. And that's a whole different car.

The SVT Enthusiast magazine mentioned that SVT was going to call it the SVT Piranha. I really liked that name actually. They found out they couldn't because GM or some other car manufacturer registered the name for a concept car they were never going to use, and they were unwilling to let it go.

In fact ford does have a focus that will be called piranha.. will be out 2003 1/2 model.. I'll keep eveyone updated on this one..

so you are saying that the Euro Package will bear the Pirahna moniker? seems sorta odd for them to do that mid model. Now if it were 2004 I could see that possibly, but once you get a name it sorta sticks. Two years calling it SVT Focus would it be hard to re-educate buyers about what the Pirahna is?

I agree...it doesn't make sense to change its name now, marketing-wise. As much as I'd like 'em to. But you never know.

ture.. I going to see what i can get ahold of as far as parts (differces) and list them on here. To my mind it seems somthing liek that mach audio.. just insaid its the Piranha... but I might be wrong.. I'll keep ya updated if ya want to know more about it..
