Not enough room so I stuck it in the passenger seat pocket on the back on the seat..fits just fine and easy to reach. :tmb:

I never thought about putting it in the back of the seat. Thats a good idea. Right now its in my house in a drawer. Good advice!

That glove box is only for gloves :D , the key lock nut, copy of registration and insurance and a tire pressure gauge.

By the way I like wearing black leather gloves while driving, specially in winter, since my knuckles tend to crack and bleed in the cold, even with the heater or defroster on.

Gotta get me some nice summer gloves :)

Anyboy else wears gloves while driving the beast? (I feel the flame coming on)

I used to wear gloves, but now I just wear a scarf.

I've always used driving gloves because my hands sweat summer or winter...doesn't matter, and I don't like what it does to the steering wheel leather. I found the best driving gloves I have ever had at a Harley Davidson store. The palms have sewn-in pockets filled with a gel that is really nice, and they close around your wrist with a wide velcro band. Never drive anywhere without them!!:tmb: :cbra:

I placed it on the bottom with a couple other items. Put one end in towards the front of the car and downward then lay the rest of the book down. The glove box should close, every now and then I have to push the top of the book in when closing the box. Just make it fit in the hole thats cut in the plactic, looks like it might fall in behind the dashboard but it hasn't yet!

I put mine in to the bottom first then pushed it pass the locking mechanism on the top and it opens and closes fine now. :)

I do the same. I assume that you are putting everything in the black svt pouch.

I am with some of you other guys. I just tuck in the seat back pocket. I don't want to have to leave the black SVT cover at home. I had to do the same thing with a 1997 Escort Sport I use to have. I keep the wheel lock where they had put it, in the spare tire well.
