Chapter Meeting March 15, 10 AM

We are having a Windy City Chapter meeting on March 15 at 10AM at Packey Webb Ford in Wheaton. We will discuss plans for the the summer and we have a tech session planned. We will also introduce our new chapter officers. We will let you know about the tech session as soon as plans are confirmed. For the upcoming season we want to get involved in several events and we are looking to our members to let us know what they really want to do. So please come out on the 15th and get involved in our planning. See you then.

For those coming to the meeting at Packey Webb Ford. They are located on Il 38 (Roosevelt Rd) in Wheaton, Il. Its about one mile WEST of I-355. Sorry I dont know how to attach a map.:huh:

Of course! Man can not live on real food alone. I'll get Packey Webb to pop for some. I'm not sure about coffee though. We will need to work on that.

Still not sure of the tech session but we are hoping to get someone to explain brakes. How to replace, bleed, good, bad so forth. Do ya think he can tell us why I never get a brake?

Every thing is on for saturday except the tech session we had hoped for on brakes is probably out due to reasons beyond our control. Gene DiMonte will introduce our new www.Windycitysvtoa.com web site. ANd we will start planning for events this spring and summer. As it warms up and the snow boards get put away, I cant wait to put the top down.

Between my wife, my son and me we have bought well over 20 cars from the Webb boys. Don't count on anything free but they will be fair! I'd recommend we don't skip breakfast. I wonder if any of my Ponies will actually start on Saturday?

can I mention that fact that our first Mustang came from Packey Webb?

A 70 Mach I that is.....

Tim bought it used, but it had the Packey Webb sticker on the back....

And, we have purchased about 10 vehicles from them......

I will be there, but Tim won't, he has to work........

I would say that depends upon how big we get.....

for now, probably not --

being a small chapter, we will get to know each other better looking at each others "faces"...

being a Mom in classrooms I became familiar with the fact that people looked at your name tag instead of you.....

just a suggestion though,
if everyone else likes the name tag idea - I'll do it.

By the way -- that was a great first meeting !!
