Members,

There have been a few members that have said that they will not be able to attend the March event at JRP on the 8th.

As a result, I am considering moving the event to the 15th if JRP has an opening. If anyone planning on attending has a conflict with the 15th, let me know ASAP so I can plan accordingly. I plan on making the changes tomorrow if the impact is minimal.

Thanks,

Clay

It is $70 for the day.

If it is raining, this event will be resecduled, but as of today the weather should be nice.

will we be going to the auto show at some point? It's going to be the only day I can go and I don't want to miss it?

I thought we talked about going after we got done with the go karts.

I will check with Scott about passes.

We have struck out on getting passes for the auto show. Sorry...

PS We can still go. It will just cost us all $7 to get in.

I will be leaving for JRP at about 1pm. We have not discussed eat plans but I am sure we can find someplace to eat afterwards if we want.

It would not be until after we get done at JRP which would probably be about 4pm or so.

Are you coming out to JRP?

well, I went to the auto show. I think I want a refund. Not worth the $7. Plenty of Cobras, and that's good, but the concept cars were extremely lacking from last year...and a lot of cars I wanted to see weren't there. I really expected to see the 04 Lightning concept. I hope not too many of you wasted your money going there, cause I know I did.

They may bring one to the May event for eveyone to see.

I am fairly sure that they also may have one at the MidAmerica Shelby and Fast Ford meet in June.

Being from New York, I'm used to a really good car show. Then I went to one here in OK. What a joke. You couldn't pay me to go to another one. Go to one in a big city. It will be worth the money.

last year the show was teaming with concepts and the newest models. I was very discouraged after this year. Maybe it's due to the recession. What's ironic is last year I got in free, and this year I paid!

If anyone didn't go but want to catch the highlights, I posted pics here.
