When do ya'll think would be the right time to replace your tires. I drive my Cobra daily (unless it's raining, roughly from mid April thru Halloween.)

Also what some of you guys think the best sites are to order tires from.

I've always bought from the Tire Rack online and saved a bunch!

Yeah, I just found that link a little while ago. I was quite impressed with the discounted prices of the tires I was thinking of getting.

Now I just need to figure out when the best time to replace my tires would be. I mean there's nothing wrong with the tires that I have now (tires that came with the car), I was just wondering when everyone else was changing.

Don't let them get to the wear bars. You might find yourself unhappy somewhere you don't want to be.

Get the Firestone Firehawks. They will be mounted on my crome wheels when they come in for sure.

Tires have to be at "proper" operating temperatures on streets that are "warm" in order to hook up these cars. I was terribly fooled by cool streets and cool tires and I waisted money on new Goodyears after a 2 week test on Firehawks. The problem was cool streets, believe me. My Goodyears were worhtless on cool streets at half tread. Cool streets made my new Firehawks seem worthless also. I proved it by taking back the Firehawks and buying new Goodyears. Brand new much less half worn the Goodyears just don't get it unless "conditions" permit.

I had Firehwaks on for "one day" that conditions permited and they were much better. 20MPH faster in a local ramp from hell and I proved it to myself. Next time I'll buy the Firehawks.

If you are able to find the tire you want at Discount Tire you can receive our SVTOA members only pricing and save some money. I called 1-800-938-3456 Ext. 414 and spoke with Todd. This was cheaper for me than my local Discount Tire store or TireRack.

Hope this helps.
