I'm pumped - just did all the paperwork today for my 2002 FSVT. I was test driving little compacts all day when I finally made it to a Ford dealership. The folks at Discovery Ford here in Burlington are amazing (www.discoveryford.com). I didn't think I'd actually want to afford this car until we went out for a a test drive - awesome was all I could say. It's not a Ferrari, but getting behind that wheel was like coming home - took a bit to get used to the short-throw shifting and the longer shift times, but it drove like a dream. With the salesman in the car it was tough to wind it right out, but I could feel the power just waiting to be tapped.
Anyway, the paperwork is on its way through. Hopefully my bad credit rating doesn't mean I can't take this beautiful car home.
Assuming I'm driving the car later this week, I'll be posting here frequently with pics, etc.
