From everything I've read these figures seem to be a little on the low side for TQ and HP. I am thinking between 365 and 375 or do I stand to be corrected

Thats why I posted the place that did the test. This was the first
place I've seen that tested a stock Cobra. I have no idea what
HP and TQ a stock Cobra has. Is the numbers low for the Z06.?

The Z06 and Cobra are close to the same with the Z06 maybe having a slight edge. Once again somewhere around 365-375 HP and TQ for both vehicles.

There both Low.
My Stock 03 ran 362rwhp SAE corrected in Florida on a hot and humid june day. I 150 miles on the car.
I ran it just 2 months ago with flowmaster thunder II and ran
381-2 RWHP SAE Corrected. Different dyno and 2300 miles on the car.

When I took mine to the dyno @ JBA
back in December drove all morning 70
outside car was hot. Mine stock 376hp 373tq.
They did say at the time my numbers seemed a little high
but some early run Cobras had some lower numbers.
Most are 360-380 stock.

At 500 miles mine dynoed stock on a 90 degree humid day with 353HP and 360TQ at the wheels. That's 416 @ the flywheel all day long cause it only gets cooler in the evening and as the power goes up the traction falls off. These cars dyno 40+ more in ideal conditions.
You would think we could kill Z06's but they are 400LBS lighter, and most dyno better than that, much less the fact that they HOOK!!!! They should for 20more thousand. I could have had a 450 mile used 02 Z06 for 46,000.00 from a friend who ran an 11.90 ( he can drive and only weighs 140lbs compared to my tubby 285.) I was offered the car two weeks before the Cobra showed up and man it was all I could do to get my mind off of my ego and be PRACTICAL. As fine as Vettes are, you will never feel the bang for the buck this SVT has.
I'll race one on the street (eehhhmmm...conditions permiting) any day, and odds are he'll fight like hell trying to squash me. At the track....that's where I keep my mouth shut but I have run right with them, I just can't drive this car deep into the 12's yet but I will.
I have crushed all stock GM's so bad it's amazing. I have to say I cheat a little because I know when to pick'em, and believe me I got lucky a lot @ the right temperatures last summer. I never did get to run a Z06 on the street and the one at the track got me with a 12.6 to 13.1 a couple of times. Is he a good driver? Who knows.
I can't wait for the track to open this summer. RT 66 in Joliet. COME ON DOWN!!!

Dennish,
I hear yeah! I had to compete against some ZO6's this past summer in SCCA SoloII autocross events. I could only beat the really bad drivers. Guys with experience equal to mine or better would eat my lunch! Like you said, they are at least 600lbs lighter from what I understand. 3850 vs. 3250.
But a new ZO6 was $17,000 more than the Cobra. The Cobra's 'Bang for the Buck' factor can't be beat!
The ZO6 is a great American sports car we all can be proud of, just as the Viper. But they are in a different class than our Cobras.
The '03 Cobra, and its owner, needs to bow to no one. :allhail:
