With the 25% correction factor I did the math and this comes out to 291 rwhp with the standard dyno. The thing I noticed is with the extra roller load of the Mustang Dyno I didn't see as much of a drop at the 5k - 5.5k range like most sheets show. The base run is with the exhaust mods (see sig) and the test run is with a basic Diablo chip plugged in. I have since removed the chip and put in Steeda pullies & timing adjuster. Now I need to get back to the dyno and check this out, but the butt dyno and the G-tech tells me the Steeda pulley/adjuster is producing better results. I think my torque numbers are back in line with the timing adjuster. The A/F ratio with the chip was starting at 13.4 at 4000 and up to 11.6 at 6800. Without the chip it stayed at ~ 12.6 from 3400 - 6800. Hence, lose the chip, add the timing adjuster.

The Mustang dynometers are true eddy current dynos. They are more accurate than a dynojet, that's why the OEM's use so many of them. The Mustangs are much more expensive than the Dynojets, so if there wasn't a difference in accuracy, I'm sure the OEM's (GM/FORD/etc.) would save the $$ and go the other way)...

I had my 99 on a couple of each, and it consistently read about 10% lower on the Mustang dyno than on the Dynojet.

That's the explanation a couple of Ford engineers told me a few years ago--your mileage may vary :D

Hope this helps...
