Carbon Buildup and Hesitation

I recently changed the throttle body on my '01 Cobra and noticed what appears to be carbon buildup inside the intake. I have also been experiencing hesitation or what I might call burps when running at normal highway speed.

I have 18k miles and have a BBK Cold Air Induction system with K&N filter. I always change, not clean the filter at regular intervals (every 7 or 8k miles). The only other mods I made were Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers. Other than the little burps the car runs great. I have tried a couple of different "Cleaners" you add to gas (I know, they don't really work but...) also.

I hesitate taking into the dealer for fear they will just look at it and blame the problem on the upgrades.

Any ideas?

WBPO I don't think with the mods you have they will say anything I don't know for sure but you might have a dirty injector and that might be your problem. If it is an injector it is not covered by warranty at least that is what they told me and I had to pay to have it replaced. Hope this helps Rachrse
