well I got home today and no blower, and no slip from Fedex saying they tried to deliver it.... I hate fedex, they are the worst shippers around, guess I have to wait until tomorrow, and I even shoveled out more of my driveway so that I can get into the garage to work on it....
I'm not happy right now :(

thing weighs 20 lbs I was thinking going with the D-1.Before Louie spews my P-600.There`s no way it`ll take 9000 rpms.He says don`t worry.So I guess I`m not!

well the only thing is they step up on the P1 and D1 are the same, so I'm not sure if there is any advantage to go that high?

When we went to the track before we left on the 2-step at 6500rpm.Therefore under full boost. His Logic is under normal driving I`m running basically just a regular Cobra for power. Thus saving my fuel consumpsion and making more streetable. If I want to play, the upper rpm 5000 thru 8500 rpm is hairy. Thus leaving me almost 2 different rides to drive.

ahhh, I understand now.... just like mine is soft up to about 2k, then starts to grab harder... before I really jump into the powerband....
which is why I'm usually driving around at about 2k rpm

Procharger and the ****ing nimrods that work there are really starting to frustrate me.... first they send me a box that they don't know what was in it, but it wasn't my blower and they tell me to send it back, next they are supposed to ship me my blower on wednesday by 2 day air, but today, no blower.... and no fedex truck trying to deliver my blower.... so I call, and they don't know where my blower is or if it has even shipped... and tell me to call back monday because the guy that normally handles it, isn't available

nope... at the time I was extremely frustrated with them, and trying to get an answer of where it was made it difficult to order the bracket... the conversation went something like, where's my blower, well it was shipped to the wrong address, if you leave a message for james he'll get back to you, left message, got a call at like 6:30, well we found your blower, and the fedex guy just picked it up, so you should have it shortly...
at which point I said bugger...
anyway... it's the same 3.40" pulley that I had before.... talking to the tech there he's making 18psi with a 3.60" pulley on his car... but he doesn't have any head work or cams

It`s a experimental unit from Procharger before the P-1SC AND P-1SCH.I`m waiting to hear back from them.According to them it`s a P-600B housing with the P-1SCH helix impellar in it.That`s why it makes 12 psi out of the box. Then when they found out it worked. They made the P-1SCH being self-contained.

I think it's different for yours... does your existing braket have an idler pulley on it?
anyway, that's why I've decided I don't want to deal with them any more this month.... can't stand trying to get a straight answer out of them....

Well Procharger called back today to set things straight. My blower is a P-600B housing with a helix impeller. What that says is as follows. The step up ratio is 3.05 and the max impeller speed is 65,000.I thought we had a 3.60 pulley on it now.I was wrong it`s a 3.20.So,we changed the pulleys on order to 2.75 and 2.50.Chris your formula was right for calculating the blower speed.E.G. 6.45 divide 3.20 X 3.05 X 7500 = 46,107.42 blower speed.Or 6.45 divide 2.50 X 3.05 X 7500 = 59,018 blower speed. It helps alot when Procharger stops screwing around and gives you the right info.:D

yeah.... as long as they know the right information... lol
not much of a step-up there tho'... it explains why you'd have to buy a new blower.... 4.10 or 5.0 in the d1 & f1

maybe I should have gotten that one then.... it looks like the 3.40 may be a bit too small for me, I can only go up to 7500 RPM

You can run a PRO-RACE dampner with a circumference of 6.45.Giving you speeds 58,334.56.Therefore you can rev it higher or go to a smaller pulley. What`s the Max speed on the blower.60,000 or 65,000?

yeah.... it's 62000 for the p1 & d1.... I might change up the crank pulley, I don't need to worry about the water pump, but I do have to worry about the alternator....
more calculations to do....
