I would use DENSO plugs dyno proven for aprox 7 hp. platinum is O.K. but Iridium is better. I suspect that it will be up to you to see at your dyno shop to prove that their are HP gains. There are alot of ads that will sell you the world but I have been told the way to go is DENSO:tmb:

I installed the Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs on my '01 Cobra.
No problems thus far. It did take the Cobra computer a minute
or so to adjust to them. After that things have been great.

Don't expect noticeable performance gains unless your old plugs
are shot!

FYI regarding Spark Plugs...
I was told by numerous people on the web about Bosch causing problems in the Cobra's... I went with Motorcraft Double Platinums... The car runs GREAT!!! Personally, I think OEM can't be beat when you're dealing with such an advanced engine... Plus if your vehicle is still under any kind of factory warranty, this should help keep you within factory spec as well...

hey all
DONT USE THE PLATINUM +4!! I just got my 01 COBRA dynoed about a month ago...and it ran VERY RICH! i was porbably about -15-20rwhp. after the calculations i was 311 to the crank. and i did have a Densecharger Intake + bassani catted xpipe. i should be atleast 330 to the crank. so i got 269.1rwhp...pretty ****ty! they told me that the Bosch SP are ****. use the Stock replacement of Motorcraft. here are some vids of the dyno, and the technician telling me that the bosch sucks.
