04 GT will have 01 Cobra hood on some models

Quick question....dont they make stangs in MI. You live in tampa bay florida. How have u seen the assembly line? Just wondering

Yes they make them in Mich ! In the Dearborn assembly plant.
I took a plant tour when I was up for the Dream Cruz along with about 60 other SVTOA members.

They are building an new plant for the mustangs/cobra next door which we were told. They also said the new plant would be open in 2005. Thank god. It will be more robotic so the quality should pick up.

I agree whats under the hood is what counts. I was just stund to see the hood on a v6 or a GT when we pay that much money
for exclusivity.

I Have a 03 now, so the hood is not the same but I am true SVT/Cobra nut and I thought it was BS that they could give someone else the pleasure if thinking they had a performace
car when it really is nothing more than a tin can.
