I always wanted an SVT Contour when they first came out. I had leased a 1998 Sport with a 5-speed and loved the car. It was a sad day in 2000 when I turned it in for a Taurus SEL. I finally bought a 2000 SVT as a second car in December 2002. It had only 14,000 miles on it. I love this car! Funny, my new SportTrac is in the garage more than the SVT!

Welcome. Always glad to have another CSVT member. As I'm sure you've noticed, there aren't many of us on here. As for putting on the mileage, I know exactly what you mean. The first year I had this car, I just couldn't stop driving it.:) 20k in 11 months. And I never even left the state.:D Hope to see you around.

Sweet! Great cars, I owned a 2000 for about 1.5 years until financial reasons made me sell it. Have safe and drive fun, or something like that....
