SVT Homecoming is a very special SVTOA event held in conjunction with the 24th Annual Mustang Memories All-Ford Car Show & Swap at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI. We will have three days of special events culminating in one of the largest car shows in the Detroit area. The event is open to all current SVTOA members, however, attendance is limited, please see below for more information on each event.

Tour of Dearborn Development Center test track, Hot Laps with Ford drivers on the Steering & Handling Course, light lunch/refreshments.

I will, once I have more to tell. ;) Right now we're working with SVT and some folks in marketing to hammer out the details. The BOSS 302 group had a reunion last year in conjunction with this show and we might mirror that event somewhat, with a few added "extras."

and register for the Mustang Memories car show, just MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE "SVT Homecoming" BOX, so they can keep all of us together.

I will have more details in May about the other activities we will be hosting during this event, but you definitely will need to register for the car show with the above link.

I know people will have to make travel plans soon, but coordinating all the details will take some time because so many different departments within Ford have to be involved in order to pull this off. Plan on a dinner Saturday night, that's solid, but we're not sure when we will hold the SVT garage tour and assembly line tour and if we can get some time on the test track.

Have registered my 07 GT500 for the MOCSEM Show and checked the SVT box. I am coming in from Birmingham, AL on Saturday and plan to stay the week and participate in the Woodward Dream Cruise the following Saturday. I want to do all of the SVT planned events, especially a factory assembly line tour in Flat Rock! The dinner on Sat is good and an SVT Garage tour and time on the test track would be fantastic!! I have never been to the Ford Museum, Estate or HQ Building so I definitely plan to fit those in and any others you would suggest.
I am bringing my golf clubs too, so if anyone knows of a convenient golf course and would like to go 18, let's tee it up.
I have reservations at the Comfort Inn on Michigan Av where car trailer parking is available but can switch to the BW Greenfield Inn if that works out.

If you like museums/history check out the Henry Ford Museum's "Driving America" exhibit. You may also want to consider the Ford Rouge Factory tour which begins at the museum. They also have an Automotive Hall of Fame museum on the same site. Lots to choose from very close to the hotel.

Definitely the Henry Ford museum! I'm trying to figure out when I can fit in a visit during this trip. I know they revamped some of the displays, so it's worth going back every once in a while. I think there is also a display of Titanic relics if that's your thing. The Rouge Factory tour is always good, but I'd definitely hit the Henry Ford.

Hey Marcie - I can't thank you enough for putting the weekend together! We had a great time... having Mr. Ressler talk about the formation of SVT, the birth of the Pace Car, it was a great evening. Getting to spend lots of time with the SVT staff on the garage tour may have been the highlight of the trip. When you do this again, I would highly recommend that all GT500 owners go.
