Methanol Water Injection Kits

Has anyone out there tried one of these in their cobra? Kinda seems to good to be true. 50+ rwhp for less than $200....wtf? Appreciate any info you guys have.

You might go to SVTperformance.com and do a thread search in there terminator forum. I am sure i have seen someone do this.
One thing to think about, Can you readily get the methanol/water mix locally or will you have to have it shipped? Can you get 100 Octane locally?
Also this kit looks very basic. here is another that is complete. and safer to run since it has a boost controller.

Lots of great info there. Think I'll leave it as is for now, thanks for your help. I can get the right mix here and from what ive been reading, it'll work with the 93 octane i get here, but tuning would be an issue, im sure I'd have to ship my computer. I wouldnt mind that if I was guaranteed to love the kit, but from what i hear, seems hit or miss for some people and i'm in a cooler climate anyways. Thanks again

oh, the reason i was looking at the mr freeze kit was the fact that it didnt have a pump that might fail, rather worked off vacuum, heard it was kinda cheaply made but did see someone posting dyno results of 50+ at the wheels with no real other mods done
