I guess they are playing with the web site. I like the site but it keeps deleting threads and posts. Anyhow here is the info preveiously posted.

On Saturday Oct 19 from 1-4 pm we are having a Car Care Clinic hosted by "Meguiars Car Care Products". This should be a good presentation on taking care of your SVT's paint.

We will also have a chapter meeting around 2pm to discuss future events/meetings.

This is all at Packey Webb Ford on Roosevelt Rd
Il 38 2.3 miles west of I-355. On the south side of the road. There will be reserved parking for SVTOA members in back. (to protect our cars). Please pass this on to anyone and reply here if you have questions. Or you can send me an email:D

For anyone that attended I thought the clinic was quite good. I learned alot about the basics as well as some advanced car care techniques. I'll post a note here when we get some information on the discounts we were promised from Meguiars. Thanks to everyone that attended.

Many of you may have received a flyer in the mail about this event. You probably received it late. I guess they got tied up in SVTOA's mail room. Any mass mailings are required to go through SVTOA. Next time we do a mailing we will do it for a large event and send them out at least a month in advance.
