Thanks for sharing. Additionally, I was told by my service rep that SVT is aware of the 03 ticking and is working on a solution.

Bhartman, Sbosserman,
Thanx very much,
got an appointment next week to get the 241L
installed. The other TSBs explain the conditions I experienced
exactly. Slow traffic going home, 5 lanes of traffic 20mph and
the Rocket just quit. In gear and all. Started once then quit immediately. Luckily I was able to roll to the shoulder. What a drag, Brand new car, quits, man, this is gettin old real fast.
Have you ever tried getting off a major freeway during rush hour?
The SSM's were just in time. I told the service writer I had the problem other than what I had for my appointment "241L"
and they just rolled their eyes and said they couldn't get to it until next week. O.K. It's quit on me 5 times in two days.
How's this, I calmly said ok, see you on the appointment day;
Just think, So-Cal freeway, rush hour traffic, and a brand new 03
Cobra stalled in the middle of 5 lane traffic, Dealer plate still on car, if it does this again, I'm gettin out of the car, leavin it in the middle of traffic and callin the dealer from my cell to come and get it.:fryem:
Hey, at least I still have a sense of humor:D
Thanks again for the assist, I greatly appreciate it.:cbra:

Rocket,
Sorry to hear about your car. Mine's got some problems too. Right now it's in my garage under a cover until the snow is gone and a good rain washes the salt off the road and then it's off to the garage for the vibration problems. I've already had the driveshaft replaced. I can now see out my rearview mirror when I hit 80 mph, but I still have vibration, just not as bad. I still LOVE the car!
I need a new roof and chimney for the house and I'm keeping the Cobra and selling the '67 'Stang and Motorcycle.
I'm glad I could help, but sbosserman deserves the real credit.
Later!

Sbosserman,
Do you have access to Special Service Bulletin #16167 or any other Special Service Bulletins? I can post these, along with the SSMS.
Cheers!

Nobody from Ford or SVTOA asked that these be removed, in fact when the author of the post asked me to remove them, I expressed concern that this would give the appearance that we are trying to keep information from our members.
The editing/removal of the previous content was done by the person who made the original post.
There was no pressure from us whatsoever to remove or edit the content of this thread, so please do not make assumptions or imply that this was the case.
