I just bought some JamStrait LED bulbs for my 2002 SVT Focus. I have one pair each for the front and rear. When using these things for turn signals, you need to install a resistor (supplied by JamStrait) on each side of the car. It comes with the necessary connectors already attached. I needs to be in parrallel with the bulb socket on the turn signal circut. In other words, one lead from the resistor splices onto the power wire for the blinker, and the other lead splices onto the ground wire. I'm not certain which wire is for the turn signal, and which is for the tail/stop lamp. There are three wires going to the socket. I know the black one is the ground wire. There is blue one, which is labled "major" on the socket assembly, and an orange one with a white stripe, which is labeled "minor". Does anyone know for certain which one is for the turn signal? Thanks.

I'm guessing by the number of posts you've had you probably got anoyed and never came back to this forum, but I was just reading here, I normally go to ww.myfordfocus.com/forum for everything, but I'll post and maybe you can pass this info on to anyone else who may have this problem

get a multimeter attach the ground to the ground and then turn on the blink and poke the + lead from the meter to one of the other 2 wires left you'll get voltage on the line that's hot, this is your blinker.
