O.K. I have got to get something off my chest! Most of you proboly read my messed up story. Well when I sent off my computer of to Paul's High Performance so he could get everything lined out he pulled a quick one on me! He swithched out my computer. The one he sent me is not even for a cobra. That is why my car blew up. It has cost me a couple thousand for parts and labor to fix this mistake. Or is it a mistake! I am so mad that i cant even drive straight. Oh wait i cant drive my car because it is in pieces. Heck of a deal. It is now my mission in life to ruin Pauls name. Not at first but when he would not return my phone calls or talk to me i got angry. His tech said that he was unavaible for comment. And they must have caller id cause they wont even anwser when i call. If you want to get screwed in the tail pipe contact Pauls High Performance. He is the sorriest person i have ever done buisness with. Stay away from him.:bash:

Sounds like a pi_ _ poor way to run a business. If ya do it once, you'll do it again, and he won't do me. I'll tell you this much, he won't get any of my business, thats for sure. Just deleted him off my links. I feel for ya Kory.

Kory, it's lawyer time. That is ridiculous. If anyone did that to me and my ride, I'd make a surprise visit to their place of business. I don't care if I had to borrow the money for a plane ticket, I'd be on that dude's doorstep. What happened to your car ( I read your original post ) makes sense now. Wrong ECU, wrong fuel maps = BOOM! That's just unacceptable. If you can prove he sent you the wrong box ( have shipping records ) knowingly, he's toast ! Call Judge Judy ! I wanna see some on-air vendor flame.

Kory,
I agree with MadMax, it is time to consult with a lawyer. One letter from a lawyer may motivate the vendor to reinburse your expenses for repairs. This should be covered by vendor's insurance as clearly as if your car was damaged in his shop. Good Luck and keep us informed.

I agree with the above, that's crazy! Looks like I won't be heading over to Paul's anymore!!

Got a qwik question,
How'd you find out it was the wrong computer? Did they change the inside of yours and ship you back your box with different internals i.e. computer? Scary. I thought the computers all had some kind of serial numbers on them.
Good Luck.:cbra:

Paul's link deleted as well. I would advise to call the Better Business Bureau or Verisign to complain, things like this can not go withoutremedy.

I finally got Pual on the phone. I called from my cell phone and he talkrd to me. He agreed to refund my money for the chip butt did not want to get on the subject of the computers. He really did not want to talk about my little explosion, stating that he had done over 50 cars with tthe exact same setup as mine. Oh well I will get back 500 bucks and wont go back to him. The new chip that I got aslo did not work so i went somewhere else. This giy is good and sold me a new vortech! He cut me a heck of a deal. All in all i guess Paul is not that bad, he is refunding part of my money axcept the cost of intakes and labor. So in a way I kinda feel bad for being so mean. Or do I? Should I?

Glad he came to his senses. Maybe Paul reads this board as well. Either case, if you don't get what you paid for, a refund should be done. Always use credit card, at least that way you can claim any problems with your card holder. They will deal with him. Regardless, I will not plan nor recommend on doing business with Paul. We really don't need this kind of jerking around.

Kory I think if Paul sent you the wrong computer back in my opinion he ripped you off. After you talked to him and he did not want to discuss the computer, to deny or correct you I would say you got ripped off and I personaly would still be pi---- off. Regardless I will not send any business his way. RACHRSE

Sorry you had a bad experience with Paul's High Performance. I have been doing business with Paul and his professional staff for the last year.
I live in Ft.Myers Fla a local company was doing the work on my 2001 Bullitt they was so incompedant ever thing they did to my Bullitt was wrong. Paul's High Performance was my savior!!!! After one phone call to Paul I set up a trucking company to haul my Bullitt up to Paul's shop in Michigan from Fla.
Paul redid all the mods on my Bullitt he knew EXACTLY what to do to correct my problems.
I talk to Paul often,he is a great guy to deal with and is very dedicated to helping the drag racer.
I WOULD TRUST PAUL WITH MY FIRST BORN!!!!! He is a very honest guy!!
There are times i call during business hours and get an answering machine, they are busy working and testing new parts they don't have a customer service line when you call you speak to a tech not a person reading from a script. There for real at his shop"Racers" not sales people.

Once again sorry you had a problem with Paul,I'm sure he was very upset and was trying to have all his facts before he called you back.

By the way he build my Bullitt my car runs mid 11's at 120mph and 60' in the high 1.40's with a very conservative tune. No internal engine work I have a Vortech after cooled.

This post is the only negative thing i have read about PHP.

Hey Ray, tell us how you feel j/k. Don't tell the Mach 1 owners about your Bullitt they may get alittle upset. I agree paul did a great job who knows what happed with this situation but hopefully the best will turn out. I'd holler at ya on IMBOC but it seems to be down right now.:(
