Yesterday was a sad day. After 12 1/2 years and nearly 145K miles, I said good bye to my SVT Contour. It was a sad moment, and the car has been in the family longer than my son. It was time, though, as we now have a GT500 convertible in the garage.

Are you a member on contour.org?
Sad video, looks like she was well cared for. Hopefully it'll end up in the hands of someone who will enjoy the car as much as you did.

Yes, I am a member of contour.org, but not a frequent visitor or poster. Also, my handle is different. Still, the site has been a tremendous resource to me over the years.
I hope she does go to a worthy home. I even threw in a couple of brand new tires and all original paperwork. Now I'm sad again…
What charity did you give it to?

California council of the blind.
Good.
Some one will get a great car and it's for a good cause.
I gave one of my cars to charity motors a few years ago.
Still sad to see it go tho. It's better than the junk yard.
