SVTOA members opinion on new 2010 designs?

Just curious to see what you all think about the new design Mustang GT or the new GT500. I think they look good, but I don't know about the new look for the rear end. I also still don't know how to feel about non-performance technology in a muscle car.(Microsoft & Nav. systems.)
I think I'll stick with an old fashioned Gauge cluster and nitrous button.

Nav systems can be helpful if you take it on trips. I don't need the Sync system in a sports car.
The tail lights are o.k but for me they will take a little getting used to........O.K I like them now.
The G.T.500 I like, especially the one in Kona Blue WOW what a color.
The 07, 08, and 09 G.T.500 did not do it for me but now I like.

I like the new styling. If your tied to the 67 design theme then the 05-09 is for you and is affordable. If you like the updated look then the 2010 is available. Mustang sales were sliding so they had to do something.

I like the new look, .. big time. I can remember when I first got my 94 Cobra, ..... then the new edge SN95's came out and it took me years and the 03 Cobra before I liked that style over the 94/95 style. For 2010, ....... it flys for me right out of the box.

Saw the new V6 Mustang today at the Philly Auto Show. Very nice restyle of a great looking car with a stunning redo of the interior. Probably hands down the best Mustang interior ever! :tmb:Still a little uncertain about the rearend, but it will grow on me as I get used to seeing it.

Looking forward to seeing the 2010 in person at the Mustang 45th in Birmingham. Pictures can only relate so much. Glad to see the Mustang bloodline continuing, though.

I wish the option of an IRS could be offered. After driving several Mustangs since 1984, the '99 Cobra is still the best overall driver for me to date.

As much as I would some day like to move to a new Mustang, I have a hard time moving away from IRS, so it looks like the '99 will be a keeper. If the IRS option was there, the '99 might have had a newer corral mate in the garage.

I saw the 2010 Shelby at the Houston Auto Show..It was the blue with red stripe convertable. Did not like the stripes on the seats or the color combo but everything else was ok..Loved the wheels but I wont be running to my dealer to trade in my '08..

Old thread, but thought I'd pitch in anyway. Personally, the 2010 is the best looking Mustang, not that I'm biased or anything. ;) The big part that was missing from the '05-'09 cars is the "hump" body line behind the doors. The car is just dead sexy!

I like em, don't get me wrong but I am still not in the Best Eva Camp. I think so many years have a reason to be special. I still think my 03 Anniversary Vert was a really cool ride. I am very happy with my 08 & 09 too!

Oh I forgot the Replica from Hell we had, 68 GT500 KR Vert with a 428 SCJ that took 8 years to build.
Current 65 Fast Back Project is 4 years, AHHHH!!! This is close.
Maybe a Super Snake but I am pretty darn happy with the GT500 and the Black Jack.

The 2010 has grown on me and now with the 2011 5.0 I like it much better than the last 24 years of Mustangs.
