Who's up for doing a Auto X at Pellissippi State, Knoxville, TN. on the 26th of October? Solo events are a fun way to test your driving skills on a closed coarse. Here's some info.

Hey Dave, . are you a instructor for that event? Do you plan on doing the Solo event on the 26th?

Hey, Jym.
Not an instructor per se, but glad to ride along and offer tips.
We usually have a SOLO school of sorts in the Spring.
We're going to be racing at Virginia International Oct 25-26th.

I am however going to start on my next project very soon.

I found a very "cherry" set of rear disks in a junk yard while I was in Cherryville, NC this past week. The car had been sitting wrecked for around 2 months and looked like it was actually driven there and parked. Every bolt broke loose properly and it looks like the lines and the seals on the calipers are in excellent condition. Every piece, every bracket is accounted for to complete the swap.

Now it's time to sandblast them and have them powdercoated and installed before next years shows and AutoX events......:tmb:

Kevin,
It's been over my head, .. between the Kitchen remodel and Margarets birthday, ..... I just simply didn't have the time. We'll have to plan to do some Auto-X in the future.

I did get a HID Hi/Lo headlight and HID Fog light kit for the 03 Cobra and haven't even had any time to do a install.

Did I mention I'll be sooooooooooooooo "Happy" when this Kitchen is done!!!

:haha: I know how you feel with the remodeling situation, I did my bathroom last year and gave the kitchen a "fresh" face lift a couple of months back to tide the wife over for a year or two....:D

I'm right down the street if you need any help. I've been in construction/plumming/HVAC/electrical/ since I was little.....

You drive it at night?

I saw that set up the other day on an 03.
It looked good.
By the way what was the cost and where did you get them?

Gar,
Hard to believe I do get it out at night. The stock bulbs with the smoked lens sarei just to dark for me. I went with the HID Kit 6K temp on both the headlights, which are still Hi/Lo beams, and the fog lamps.

I got them from Visionbulbs,
http://www.visionbulbs.com/
.... and I'm working on a group buy for anyone having a interest in up- grading the stock lights. I'll be taking photos of the install and I'll let you know what I think when it's done.

You know you can fix it so the driving lights stay on with the high beams.

Here is the link on how to do it.
