Might make a good trip.
We are registering for 4th Annual Crow Mountain Hillclimb.
I plan on taking the A/Sedan car. I finished top 10 year before last.
Always a lot of fun. About 1 1/2 South East of Chattanooga in Scottsboro, AL.

Sounds like a cool event to attend. How is the spectator views?? I'm sure the actual track/road is closed to everyone but the racers themselves. Are there good views/parking area's to see the event as it is happening other than the usual start and finish line area's??

$5.00 to park each day, and then there is a bus that goes up and down the mountain top of every hour. Several fast corners to view from with access to the paddock area.

Course is about 1.8 miles. Could be a tad longer, but there is a crest around a curve past the finish line that doesn't have any place as far as a landing area if you miss judge which way the road goes.
Local high school has food on sight. A few good restuarants in Scottsboro, along with a bunch of good people.
Friday every meets at the http://www.unclaimedbaggage.com/faqs.html for tech, registration and to let spectators, townsfolk get a close look at the cars. ALWAYS end up buying something at Unclaimed Freight.
BTW there may be some truth to the rumor about 2 North Georgia hunters finding Big Foot. His cousin was sited in Alabama a couple of years ago.

It would be a longer road trip for me then you.
If I was down there I would jump at a road trip with you guys.
I have a 7 passenger E 150 Club wagon, a most comfortable ride but gas mileage sucks (15-16 mpg).
