Am I the only one that thinks this forum structure actually prohibits traffic?

Why is there a local chapters forum, then also separate regional forums, and also separate forums by each state? There are SO many places to post on this board that there is virtually no perceivable movement.

Could there be a change to harness some of the traffic and actually create more participation/interaction? The structure could match the club structure. One national forum, where Marcie makes the big announcements or the national level questions are asked and answered. Each region has a forum, with the active chapters posting within the region. I counted about 38 active chapters on the club's contacts map (great idea by the way)....but there probably doesn't need to be forums for each one of them does there?

I don't know.......it just seems like there is a vast sea of places to post when it could be much more productive to concentrate things a bit.

I just started coming here and I totally agree. I thought it would be more stream lined to promote activity.

I agree. There has been very little traffic in the first place. I have been continually trying to promote the website along with our local chapter hopeing to get a little more chatter going on.

"Quick links" then "New post" that searches all forms except local State forms.
That's how I keep up and found the car show in East Tn.
This is the only form I post on so I don't know what others are like.
But yes traffic has slowed way down compared to what it was 2 or 3 years ago.
