I don't post here very often, if at all, but I'm going to make an effort to try and use this forum a little more.

I'm still exhausted, and it is Thursday.

Our two day autocross at Devens was an enormous success.

We clocked well over TWO THOUSAND runs over the two day period. The two days could not have been more different......Saturday....in the blasting summer like heat, and Sunday....rain in the morning and cool low 60's high 50's all day.

We brought in 50 pizzas for the group over two days...... I'm not going to eat pizza again.............until....well.....our August 23 event..

This really was a special weekend, and we pushed to the very limit of our capacity. I have a lot of people to thank for that. We had all hands on deck for this one... Some of you will not recognize these names, but they have been returning members for years, and have a serious commitment to our autocross program. It takes a large group to set up a 2 mile autocross course. Course designers: Ralph Stankowski, Steve Childs, Paul Lussier, Barbara Seeger, Devin Parker, John Spooner, and asst Boston chapter director Mike Miller.

The lugging of our 350 cones, timing gear, 6 foot LED scoreboard, fire support gear, loaner helmets, tents, generators, not to mention their own cars, is supported my Chris Masiello, and his father, John Masiello.

IT support for the timing system and it's components: Mark Stimpson

Our course designers also served as the instructors for the event.

And finally, thanks to all the participants.....You folks really get it. You all work really hard out there, and understand that your part contributes largely to how efficient or inefficient the event is.

We have participants from as far north as Central Maine, as far south as New Jersey, and as far west as central New York State.

It was a great event, and I'm looking forward to a few weeks of rest.. :)

Come now Dell. You won't be watching.. You can take your runs in my car... I may have to pair you with an instructor though. ;)

Oh that could be fun. How many spins do I get before I have to stop?
