Hello ALL
I am a 1st time mustang owner, i thought what better way to start than with a 2008 GT-500. Before i even took my new Shelby with me i thought i am all about having power so i had Team Ford hook me up with the works. In phase 1 i had them put the beefed up suppesion, the short throw shifter, the JLT cold air intake, a 65MM TBI, and a smaller puley on the supercharger, and a set of custom Kooks Headers with sport cats, and performance mufflers. I am now waiting to hear what the rear wheel HP is and what the new torque is on my machine.
In Phase 2 of my build i will be putting on a Shelby Super Snake hood, Rousch luvers on the side windows, then have my heads trued up for the intake and exhaust system then they will install the GT40 cam in my GT500, and i will have a custom made intercooler,heat exchanger and radiator installed and made by Griffen.
My goal is to have my new GT-500 Shelby pump out 0ver 650 HP on the rear wheels with all OEM parts from FORD.
I will add a picture of my ride when i get it and i look forward to meeting you at the Ralleys.
