We will be driving up to Fontana Damn where we will take a rest and breathe in some fresh air and then start the cruise back down. The cruise will be at everyone’s own pace and all are encouraged to please take it slow and be safe while driving.
We encourage everyone to participate. Bring along your family for a fun day of cruising and beautiful scenery. Please bring your own snacks or lunch for this cruise as there’s not many places to get any personal “needs” items either. Plenty of places to pull off and take pictures
After the cruise of the “Dragon”, (for those who wish to continue the day) we will travel along beautiful Foothills Parkway to the Townsend/Wears Valley area and then on up to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area where we will meet at ???????? for a good bite to eat and some friendly conversation. Come make this a mini-vacation for you or your family and join us. Lodging (for those wishing to stay the night in beautiful E. TN) is available in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and is solely your responsibility to reserve your room or cabin for the night. If additional info is needed for lodging, this is a simple “Google” link that has tons of websites for your lodging needs. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Lodging+Gatlinburg%2FPigeon+Forge&btnG=Google+Search

Hey Gene,
Glad to know that you are keeping that tradition going. Now only if you can send down some "sample bottles" All is well for us in TN. Sure do miss my Illinois Cobra buddies.
The "Dragon" should be a fun time, ......... our East,TN. Chapter will most likely make this a yearly activity. Hope you can join us some time.

Since I could not make the Dragon run this time :( I am going to the Woodward dream cruise tomorrow. That should make it all better. :tmb:
Home Sale Update: The man who was looking at our home can't buy it right now. :(
So we are going to wait and see if anything changes with him in the near future before we put it on the market.

It's been a while since I have had to shift so much. 2nd to 3rd, back to 2nd, up to 3rd, so on and so forth. I ended up with a cramp twards the end of the run. Spec clutches are a little stiffer than a stock clutch, but it held up pretty well. No glazing, no slipping. Just a cramp which required immediate stretching...... :D

I know the feeling. I spent 10 hours on Woodward yesterday @ the dream cruise. 2 hrs walking around and the rest driving. 1st gear, stop, 1st gear, stop, 1st gear, stop, 1st, 2nd, stop. But what fun. :tmb:

Hey Gar,
Did you get any photos?
Having the LDC clutch freeplay kit on my 03 Cobra makes things very stiff, ........ and yes we used Margarets GT/CS , . I thought that I might want to shoot photos from the passenger side while she drove. I had so much fun driving the Dragon there was no way I was gonna sit on the passenger side.
Jym
Hey Gar,
Did you get any photos?
