Cobra wheel centers

I got my hands on two extra sets of five of these wheel centers. I had seen someone's post a while back asking about them. Mine are all sold now. I already have them on my car, and they do look better than the plain "SVT"

The Motorsport # for them is: M1096C

Need 4 Snakes

Its seems Ford Racing no longer has the snake inserts. Maybe if enough of us what them we could get them to offer them again?

Just a suggestion-take a look at www.mustangparts.com and click on the Suspension link. Scroll all the way down until you see the Cobra"snake" logo wheel center cap link. Not too bad IMHO even though the're not "motorsport":wtf: Lots of other O.E.M. cool stuff! I ordered a set of caps today and the guy said they will fit stock 03 cobra wheels- I'll post pics when they arrive........

Yes, the ones you found look just like these, only a lot more expensive than the ones I was able to get. I'm glad you found these centers, ya done good Skilgore1!

$86.80 for a set of five was the cost, but my source had nine left. They didn't know if they were going to get anymore.

Hey everyone! I received my "snake" caps today- They are actually O.E.M. caps with the casting #'s and part #'s on the backside. (including the FORD stamped logo) These are the ones I ordered from www.mustangparts.com and I admit a little pricey at 24.99
For what it's worth-They are COOL..............:tmb:

THANKS - Found them. Both styles too. They sure are pricey though, I'll have to think about it. Don't know if its worth $100 just to upgrade. But Thanks for the help, thats what SVT is all about.

No sir,,,,they aren't stick on's,,,,,they snap in the wheel just like the SVT wheel centers do.

I got my cobra centers at afswheels.com. they look the same and I dont think they were that high...I cant remember exactly how much they were though.

Hey Jenny- Are the centers you got from AFS wheels the ones with the "R" in the middle of the snake or just the snake center caps? Just curious.....

The AFS copywrited center cap will fit in the AFS 2003 Cobra style wheels. It will also fit in the OEM Ford 2003 Cobra wheel, Y2K Mustang wheel and the Bullett wheels.

This center cap measures 2 and 9/16th inches (just over 2.5 inches) in diameter

Our center cap is shiny black with the chrome Cobra in the raised striking position.

Ordered & received inserts. Got the Snake inserts. Checked & found 1 to have broken clip but AFS said they would replace it.
They look great & far better then the SVT ones. The AFS Wheel inserts fit our '03 Cobra perfectly too. Cost was $80 shipped for 4.
